Top Grade for the new Markin Hall at UofL
Students in scrubs and suits are now sharing the same corridors at the Markin Hall building on the University of Lethbridge campus.

The state-of-the-art building will be the new home for the faculties of Health Sciences and Management and will priovide space for 420 health sciences students and 1,600 management students on its four floors.
Markin Hall also has $1.6 million worth of audio-visual equipment and has two video-conference rooms used to offer courses via video in Calgary and Edmonton.
Other cool features in this building include a Simulation Health Centre with wireless high-fidelity patient simulators, Addictions Counselling Lab, and Western Canada’s first finance trading room where students learn the ins and outs of the stock market…without having to spend their own money!
Markin Hall is named after Dr. Allan Markin who was a key player in the university’s Legacy of Leadership campaign, which raised more than $35 million to support scholarships and other academic projects.
