Strong partnerships promote growth among neighbors

Deputy Premier and Minister of Advanced Education and Technology Doug Horner and entrepreneur, , enjoyed authentic Cantonese food and talked business during their recent meeting in Hong Kong. Minister Horner also used the occasion to personally thank Mr. Li for his foundation’s generous contribution to the University of Alberta’s Li Ka Shing Virology Institute.

The pair discussed Campus Alberta, energy, environment, human health and further prospects for Alberta and the Li Ka Shing Foundation to work together. Both men agreed to continue pursuing opportunities together to inspire further collaboration between Asia and Alberta.
